The seeds of the leek plant are sown frequently in cold cushions prepared in March-May. They are 1-1.5 cm. thick and covered with fertilizer soil. Watered with strainer. After 10-12 days sprouting begins. Weak sprouting seedlings are removed and diluted. Seedlings 15-20 cm.
