Nectarine is a fruit that resembles peach. It has a sweeter and darker structure than peach. Botanically, nectarine is considered a subproduct of peach, but it is more accurate to name each fruit as genetic variation of each other. Nectarine makes its upper season in July and August, but can be consumed all summer. It is richer in beta-carotene than peach. Protects against heart disease and cancer. Runs the digestive system, facilitates digestion.
